SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING

Pres. Stork called the meeting to order at 8:35 a.m. All rose for Pledge of Allegiance. Present at roll call: Wolak, Stork, Clark, Stirrett, Cooper, Sutherland Coenen. Also present: Clerk Poulos, Treasurer Adair.

MOTION by Cooper, seconded by Stirrett, to approve agenda as presented.

GENERAL BUSINESS
1. PAYMENT OF BILLS
Schedule of bills presented for approval:
MOTION by Stirrett, seconded by Wolak, to approve the schedule of bills as follows:
General Fund $ 9,809.02
Water System Fund $ 6,032.17
Sewer Plant Fund $18,048.92
Sewer System Fund $ 558.18
Major Street Fund $ 642.02
Local Street Fund $ 338.76
Municipal Street Fund $ 2,460.50
Total $37,889.57

2. EMPLOYEE GIFT CERTIFICATES
Clerk Poulos explained to Council that it has been the Village's tradition to present the employees with Christmas gift certificates for Village businesses. She asked Council to allow her to prepare and present these certificates for the employees. Discussion to increase Detective James Sharp’s amount to that of a full time worker resulted in Council allowing this change.
MOTION by Coenen, seconded by Wolak, to allow the Clerk to prepare and present the Village employees with Christmas gift certificates, six full time employees including James Sharp in the amount of $50.00 and all part time employees in the amount of $25.00 each.
