SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING

Pres. Ballard called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. All rose for Pledge of Allegiance. Present at roll call: Ballard, Wolak, Stork. Coenen. Absent: Guse, Clark, Boelke. Also present: Clerk Poulos and Treasurer Adair, Ed Serwatowski.

MOTION by Wolak, seconded by Coenen, to approve agenda as presented.

GENERAL BUSINESS
1. AWARDING OF TREE REMOVAL AND TRIMMING BID
DPW Supervisor Ed Serwatowski recommended Council accept the bid from Dittman Tree Service, which was the lowest of the five received at the last Regular Council Meeting.
MOTION by Stork, seconded by Coenen, to accept the bid from Dittman Tree Service for a cost not to exceed of $5,168.00 for tree removal and trimming of trees as specified.

Absent: Guse, Clark, Boelke CARRIED
2. EMPLOYEE CONTRACT
The Clerk brought this item to Council for correction. The contract approved at the last Regular Council Meeting for Adam Mengele needed to have the wage portion corrected. The correct agreement is on file.
MOTION by Wolak, seconded by Stork, to amend the Village Council’s approval of the employment agreement between the Village of Armada and Adam Mengele at the July 28, 2008 regular meeting by changing the Base Hourly Wage set forth in Article III of the agreement from $14.50 per hour to $16.40 per hour.
